Terms of Use
These Terms of Use explain the basic rules for using Visit Turkmenistan Today and booking travel services through our website, WhatsApp, email, or other communication channels.
Our services
Visit Turkmenistan Today helps travelers book tours, group departures, minimal Ashgabat packages, hotels, day trips, and Letter of Invitation support for travel to Turkmenistan.
Account use
You are responsible for keeping your account login details secure and for making sure the information you provide through your account is accurate and up to date.
Bookings
Bookings are subject to availability, route conditions, border rules, hotel availability, transport availability, and confirmation by us or our local partners. We may contact you if details need to be adjusted before a booking can be fulfilled.
Payments
Some booking fees are paid online and some costs may be paid in U.S. dollars cash on arrival, depending on the tour or package. Online payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card details.
Before you travel
Traveler responsibilities
Travel to Turkmenistan requires accurate documents, careful timing, and attention to official rules. You are responsible for the information and documents you provide.
- ✓ Provide accurate personal, passport, travel, and contact information.
- ✓ Check that your passport is valid for your intended trip.
- ✓ Bring required documents, printed confirmations, passport photos, and U.S. dollar cash where needed.
- ✓ Follow Turkmenistan laws, border rules, migration requirements, hotel rules, and guide instructions.
- ✓ Tell us promptly if your travel dates, passport details, flight times, or border plans change.
Visa support (Letter of Invitation)
We may assist with visa support through a Letter of Invitation for visa on arrival, but approval is made by Turkmenistan authorities. We cannot guarantee that an LOI, visa, border entry, or border exit will be approved. If authorities request additional information or documents, you must provide them promptly.
Changes and cancellations
If you need to change or cancel a booking, contact us as early as possible. Any refund, credit, or change depends on the booking type, timing, supplier rules (hotels, car transfers, train tickets, day trips, and other third-party services), payment processing fees, and costs already incurred. If you cancel after the Letter of Invitation has been submitted and it is approved, a $120 cancellation fee applies. If you do not show up for your tour and have not contacted us in advance, the full tour cost remains payable.
Prices and availability
Prices, airport fees, hotel rates, routes, dates, and availability may change. We try to keep information current, but official fees and supplier prices can change without notice.
Third-party services
Some services are provided by hotels, guides, drivers, payment processors, messaging services, border authorities, migration authorities, and other third parties. Their own rules, delays, outages, or decisions may affect your trip.
Website content
The website content is provided for general travel planning and booking information. We may update, remove, or correct content at any time.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses caused by incorrect information you provide, government decisions, visa refusals, border closures, flight changes, delays, weather, illness, force majeure events, or third-party service failures.
Important note
These Terms are a practical summary of how our website and services work. They do not override mandatory consumer rights or applicable law. If a specific booking page, invoice, payment screen, or written message from us gives additional terms for a service, those terms also apply to that booking.
